These joggers are well constructed and do the job. On a very powerful drill they zoomed down into the Earth quickly. If you use them, take 6 inch bites and pull the auger out with the loose dirt.

I got the four auger set that included 1.6x9", 2x16", 3x12", and 3.5x16" and each of the augers are heavy duty and well built from what I can tell. I recently had a 16" ground anchor that I tried to put into the ground. I was only able to get it down about 10" until I just wasn't able to get it any further. Not ideal but it worked for my needs as a temporary solution until I could get it all the way down. With this Auger set I used the 2x16" this past weekend, hoping that I could get the ground anchor down the full 16" so it wouldn't be sticking out and have better strength. I attached the 2x16" auger to my hammer drill and I was able to drill this down 16" into the ground in a minute or less. Then I was able to twist in the ground anchor to the full 16" and it is no longer sticking out of the ground awkwardly. These worked very well for my situation and glad that I have this set for future needs as I'm sure I'll need to dig holes for some reason. Wish I had these to start with, as it would have made my task much easier and faster. Well worth looking into these if you are in the need to make quick holes in the ground for whatever reason.

Pros:The Insaga Auger Drill Bit set is a highly effective tool for gardeners, featuring four different sizes (1.6x9'', 2x16'', 3x12'', and 3.5x16'') to accommodate various planting needs. Made from high-strength steel with a durable powder-coated finish, these augers are designed to handle tough soil conditions while preventing rust. They allow for quick and efficient hole digging, making planting bulbs, fence posts, and other garden projects much easier. The user-friendly design works with standard 3/8" cordless drills, enhancing convenience during gardening tasks.Cons:On the downside, some users may find the augers too cumbersome for small or delicate planting jobs, as their size and weight might be overkill for smaller plants. Additionally, while the augers are designed for durability, there may be some concerns regarding their effectiveness in extremely rocky or hard soil, which could lead to potential wear and tear. Lastly, the price point may be higher than that of simpler hand tools, which could deter budget-conscious buyers.

Very sturdy augers. Great for digging holes for shepherd's hooks, flag poles, bird feeders, etc. Easy to use with hand drill. Thick coating to reduce rust.

Sturdy construction! All metal construction should yield years of service. I recommend keeping these clean to prevent rust build up once the paint scraps away.I used the larger auger primarily to start post hole locations and for some plans. I have not used to smaller one, however its' use case suggest usefulness when planting more established seedlings. I had no difficultly using this and I found it very helpful. It's large size didn't hinder my Dewalt's power drill capabilities.
