works as stated, it is super simple to use. great price for 2 boards. connects easily and no faults with build. Drivers will depend what you're testing, but hooked right into win, I had to load for Ubuntu (but that's Linux ;) ) worked like a champ for syscon testing. also thanks for all the dupont cables in the pack they are always needed and handy :)

This review is for the 2PCS Type-c FT232RL Mini USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter Module 3.3V/5.5V FTDI Breakout Board+60pcs Breadboard Jumper Wires 20cm Dupont Cable Assorted Kit+1PCS Type-c Cable for Arduino.This kit contains 2 FTDI USB to TTL adapter boards along with a single USB-A to USB-C cable and a bunch (60) breadboard jumper cables including 20 male-to-male, 20 male-to-female, and 20 male-to-female ends.The adapters were instantly recognized by my pre-existing FTDI driver on Windows 11 and show up as a COM# port under device manager.They work just the same as another 3.3V-5V FTDI adapter board that I have which uses a Micro-USB connector. As I am trying to standardize on USB-C wherever possible, this adapter board simplifies the amount of extra stuff I have to bring with me when traveling.Overall this is an excellent kit with some useful extras.

AITRIP 2PCS Type-c FT232RL Mini USB to TTLI have a micro usb version of this unit and it has worked well for me. However, I wanted to get a usb-c one for ease of use, so I picked this one up to try out. I am happy to report that it works just as well as the micro usb version, allowing me to program of RS232. No complaints at all about these units.

The board is made reasonably well and is easy to use. Be sure to adjust the jumper on the FTDI board for 3.3v or 5V - it's labeled on the board so easily changed. Mine came set for 5V.I used this FDTI serial convertor to program the Pro Mini ATMEGA ATMEGA328P which does not have USB on board. I am providing the connections I used in case they are useful to others.Here are the connections for the FDTI to Pro Mini:1. VCC (Pro Mini) to the **VCC (FTDI)**. Ensure the voltage matches your Pro Mini version (3.3V or 5V).2. GND (Pro Mini) to the **GND (FTDI)**.3. RXI (Pro Mini) to the **TX (FTDI)**. The RX pin on the Pro Mini receives data from the TX pin on the FTDI adapter.4. TXO (Pro Mini) to the **RX (FTDI)**. The TX pin on the Pro Mini transmits data to the RX pin on the FTDI adapter.5. DTR (Pro Mini) to the **DTR (FTDI)** (if available). This allows the Arduino IDE to automatically reset the Pro Miniduring code upload.Note: The FDTI had a CI pin which was not essential for my purposes - I ignored it and did not connect.The product was easy to use and worked as expected! Bonus 60 Dupont jumper cables are a bonus for the price!The only thing I regret was accidently purchasing the USB Mini version instead of the USB C version. But that was my mistake so I did not ding any stars.

This is a really good value kit for building whatever TTL serial interface you want.I plugged them into a Windows 11 computer and Windows loaded the FTDI driver with no issue. There's plenty of pin header wires to make whatever cable connection you might want as well. You imagination is the limit here when it comes to what you make with the interface.The only thing I wish it had was a second USB cable. I am going to make ham radio computer control (CAT) cables with these and those will need the USB cable left in all the time, so a second one to go with the second board would have been nice.
