I’ve used the PUSR TCP232-304 RS485 to TCP/IP Converter in a couple of Modbus gateway setups, and it’s been incredibly reliable. Setup is straightforward using the built-in web interface—no special software needed. It handles Modbus RTU to TCP seamlessly and plays well with SCADA systems. The unit’s compact and doesn’t overheat, even in continuous operation. For industrial automation or remote monitoring, it’s a great choice that just works. Definitely one of those set-it-and-forget-it devices.

Connecting to the default IP just times out. It says it has a built-in webpage, so if I plug it in to my network and the webpage doesn't show up on the default IP address right away (or within a few minutes), that's a total fail. I connect Raspberry Pis all the time with no issue, so this should be easy. It also comes without instructions, so I went to the PUSR website to find a quick-start or troubleshooting steps and all I found was sales sales sales, no support. All sales, no support, 1 star.

Nutze sie um die Datenleitung vom Wechselrichter in der Garage zum smartmeter im Haus über LAN und WLAN zu überbrücken. Ein Gerät hatte eine alte Firmware und dadurch nicht funktioniert. Jetzt mit dem neuen geht es. Einstellungen sind recht kompliziert, sollte man IT Kenntnisse haben.

Gerät genutzt um 2 Energy Meter unterschiedlicher Hersteller mittels Modbus-RTU über TCP/IP an eine InfluxDB anzubinden. Hat sofort und problemlos funktioniert

Ist als Ethernetbridge zwischen Smartmeter und Wechselrichter im Einsatz. Sobald man die Einrichtung geschafft hat, läuft alles wie geschmiert. Zum Einrichten ist aber definitiv einiges an Wissen erforderlich.

Used two of these to interconnect a modbus RS485 Victron ET112 and Cerbo GX over TCP/IP. Works perfectly. Just set the correct Baud Rate (being 9600bps), make one TCP-server and the other TCP-client and use the set port. The only difficulty was finding out that RS485 connection A is Data + and B is Data -.
