Sturdy and compact, this 3-drawer cabinet is perfect for home office storage. Though designed for files, I use it to organize supplies—smooth wheels and sleek white finish are a bonus!

Pros: this cabinet is pretty easy to assemble with instructions but I had two parts left over one because it's not listed in instructions how to use them. And there are also bars for the bottom shelf for files but they do not stay in place with the tools provided. So please note that if you plan on putting files in the bottom drawer. Overall I like the sizing and that it's lightweight. I like that the wheels can easily be locked. And I like that they have real handles. Also it's very easy to customize this and came and solid white and I chose to paint the front of the drawers because they are a faux leather material. Cons it came to chipped and those extra parts concern me .

Sooooo, about this thing. The instructions were hard to understand and a little less than half of the holes were undrilled. This made assembly very difficult. Once we got to the end and installed the wheels, I immediately removed them, they didn't roll very well and part of one of the wheels was stuck not moving. I think the best thing I can say about this is none of the parts were damaged, which seems to be a thing that has been happening.Things I love:It didn't come damagedThings I loved less:Hole not drilled rightInstructions were terribleWheels are terribleIf you need a filing cabinet, you should get one that is not one of these. Get something better. Maybe other are having a better experience, but, I did not have a good experience with this. It DID file cabinet okay though, just getting to that point was rougher than it should have been.I do not recommend this DIY file cabinet.

I'm so bummed, I was so excited for this. It just is really poor quality.First of all, it shows wooden drawer fronts in the photo. I ordered the option with wooden look drawers and a wooden top. All I received are black canvas drawers. No wooden fronts at all. The only wood look part is the top. Strike one.The first step of construction was fine, and the instructions are not even half-bad.However. The problem comes in step two. You have to attach the guide rail into the frame. Here's the issue: the frame is sturdy metal (which I was glad for!), but the guide rail is very cheap plastic. You have to insert the cheap plastic end into the metal opening - and the kicker - the metal opening is SMALLER than the plastic part to insert into the opening. So - not surprisingly - the plastic piece just breaks right off. And it breaks off very easily. It's just very cheap plastic going against a smaller-than-itself metal opening so what else would happen?!This product would be nice if the quality was better. Unfortunately, the poor materials and set up make it completely unusable. Complete trash. Even if you DID get it together with the broken pieces, there's no way it would function well, since the broken pieces are parts of the guide rail for the drawers.If you get it together by a miracle without breaking pieces, I don't see it lasting long. As soon as you put any weight into those drawers, I am sure they will break, as they are only supported by cheap plastic.Unfortunately a cool product in theory, turned out to be a pile of trash. What a let down. Save your money - buy something all good quality metal and you'll be glad you did. This is a total money waster.
