The lock is preset at factory to open at 0-0-0. Check the 0-0-0 aim at the indication line. Press down the snap. Now the lock is ready to open.
1. Before opening the lock, push down button along the arrow, keep still untill second operation is done.
2. Press down the button with sharp tool, hold the position untill next step 3 is finished.
3.Turn the character wheels to set combination what you want
4.Release the button, now your private combination is set.
5.Remember well your new combination. If you want to change it again, you just need to repeat the above steps.

These were great for locking a barrel for overseas travel. As the lock is a formality and often hard to find one that is compatible.

A little flimsy. Got them for my trash cans to fiend off clueless neighbors. One of them broke with a good enough tug. They work fine otherwise for lighter weight needs.

I bought these locks to deter pickpockets in Paris. I latched the sliver lock on my bag and it literally fell off in 3 pieces after using it for 4 hours. Like I wasn’t even touching it my boyfriend was shook it just fell apart. Get something else this ain’t it.

Was easy to set up but didn't fit my tent zippers so was a bit annoyed with that couldn't leave my camp site for very long due to this they jam up as well they did fit my portable bathroom zippers and would jam a lot while trying to use the bathroom that isn't something you want to be messing with

We took these to Disney and Universal and used them to lock our bags to our stroller. They worked great. At times the bags would slip off the handle and just be hanging from the lock and they were strong enough to hold all our junk. Definitely recommend
