We bought this fencing to use around my husband's roses that were being demolished by rabbits and deer. After cutting the length needed for each and wrapping the wire around each bush we secured the fence with 6" long landscape staples. This technique worked perfectly. The fencing is strong and sturdy with small enough mesh to prevent the critters from attacking the bushes. We are very pleased with this product and definitely recommend it.

Well, I custom built my chicken run.... and I wanted a smaller wire to go at the bottom so no animals can get in. It was super easy to put up with my ryobi staple gun. This wire fencing is pretty thick, it is not easy to bend. I wanted it that way! I would recommend this fencing for sure, and the price is not bad at all compared to tractor supply!

I bought this to make a birdcage for my quails and it was the perfect mesh metal fabric. The squares were a good size and it was easy enough to cut with the right tool. It looked nice when it was finished.

I was able to size my own garden cloches at a considerable savings compared to comparable items sold elsewhere! This mesh is sturdy and easy to use. I bought my own wire cutter and 'sewed' my cloches together. I'll be able to use the various sizes I made for years to come. Very pleased with this product. The bunnies, squirrels and other critters cannot gnaw their way through this. Great product!

This was a good value at $41 when we bought it, slightly better than the big box stores, but price has gone up since. Product is okay, but not quite like the fencing cloth made 25 yrs ago...

Built a frame around vegetable garden and used the mesh to stop the critters from getting in. Used u shaped staples to hold in place. Works great, the mesh screen pattern is small enough to prevent mice and chipmunks from getting through

We put up our two Lifetime® storage sheds three years ago on a pressure treated wood platform with cement pylons underneath, and covered the ground with landscape fabric/weed barrier and pea gravel, not even thinking about varmints getting underneath. We just wanted airflow, which has worked out fine. But it's now a few years later and our area has been experiencing a fruit rat problem and they've been frolicking under our sheds, so I decided to add 1/2" square YardGard metal fencing/mesh barrier around the bottom perimeter of the deck, securing into the ground with landscape staples and an Arrow T50 staple gun with 9/16" staples into the bottom 2" of the wood deck.Because this mesh fencing is 24" wide, I could cut four 6" strips by 5' long section to attach to the bottom 2" edge of the deck to cover the open area underneath, which is anywhere from 1" to 3" opening due to a slight slope in our yard. The 5' long sections were just a manageable size for me to work with on this project. I shaped each strip into an "L" shape before attaching to the deck. I then secured the bottom portion of the "L" with 6" 11-gauge landscape staples from Extreme Dog Fence Store here on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Quantity-General-Purpose-Landscape-Staples/dp/B00ZSMY33K/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CGG6KCJKTBVRZB0SM87NIt's only been a few days but it's working out great! You can see in the photo with the gravel on the cement....this is where the rats have tried to get through the fencing but were not successful. We have plenty more YardGard fencing and landscape staples should I need to secure any compromised area in the future.

Purchased this to use as a barrier to prevent pests and animals from digging under our deck. The welds were good and it has held up great so far. Very fast shipping and price is fair compared to other products in store and online.

This stuff is awesome! I got it on amazon much cheaper than at home depot. We are using it to make gopher baskets for planting tomatoes. They're $3.50 each this year. Using this hardware cloth and some zip ties, we can make them for about $1 each. They seem more sturdy than the ones you buy since this cloth is 1/2" and the hex mesh they use for the baskets you'd buy is 3/4" and it's a heavier gauge as well. We cut at about 12"-13"...which becomes the depth of the basket, wrap it in a loop, secure it with ties, and fold the bottom in on itself like you're gift wrapping it. I've added a photo of a completed basket for reference.

My wife and I built a chicken coop this last summer. Instead of poultry fencing which only keeps chickens in, we wanted something to keep predators out. Everyone recommends hardware cloth. But hardware cloth is expensive! This was the best deal we could find. Even then it still seems a little pricey. But overall, it is a great product. No defects, and it has stayed together several months later. It is nice and sturdy, and I haven't noticed any rust.I was very pleased with this product. Wish the price could be a bit lower, but this was a good deal. If you need some sturdy mesh to keep predators out of somewhere (a cage, chicken coop, etc) get this. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments. Hope this helped your search!
