If I make a new flower or garden bed, the cats think it's for them. I have used individual cages, wire cloches, bbq grills, any kind of metal or plastic grid that I can lay on the ground that will allow my seedlings to come up. Each of these have their drawbacks, but this tent is so EASY. I can just plop this over a whole section and leave it for ages...all summer if I want - and the cats stay out. I think it would also keep out the beetles and other pests, and provide a bit of shade from the hot summer sun.

This is a great protection house for my garden plants. I'll admit it's a bit bigger than I expected but that's great for me. No assembly is required, it just pops open and expands on it's own. I like it!

Great plant tent. Keeps pests out while allowing sunligh, air, and water through. Easy to use, it unfolds on it's own and comes with stakes. The mesh doesn't feel super flimsy. I also like that it filters sunlight 20%. The Texas sun can be too much for certain plants, even some plants that normally thrive in full sun could benefit from a bit of protection like this.

I have critters who love to poach nearly everything in my raised beds, so last spring I started using netting to keep them out of my grow bags and left the raised bed to its own devices. The netting mostly worked, so I was interested in buying protective covering for my raised bed...and then I saw this. The setup went smoothly, but staking it down didn't inspire much confidence in me. We have windstorms and I could see that this was not going to stay put, and in fact, we had a bit of wind just after I installed this and the cover ended up three doors down. The included stakes just don't do a great job of holding it down. However, I replaced the stakes with some more substantial ones that I had on hand and that helped. I am also pondering on how to hold it down around the edges where there are no loops without making a complete mess of the netting. I am pretty sure I'll be able to resolve this, however.Overall this is a good protective cover. I just wish that it wasn't as likely to fly off in a wind.

I'm an Amazon Vine Reviewer - love this pop up plant protector - the mesh screen is fine to keep smallest of insects at bay. Easy to access, pop up, and take down. Folds for storage.

This is an odd little set up but it works just fine.

I'm getting ready for the garden this year and ordered this plant cover to protect seedlings once I put them out. It's all set up in the garden, but the wind easily uproots it and blows it around. This cover includes four thin metal stakes (see photo). In less than a day the wind had blown the cover around the garden area (which is fenced in). Some stakes were pulled up and for some the fabric loop slid off. So these stakes seem inadequate for securing the plant cover even for light winds. I got four 4' plastic-coated stakes to replace them and those seems to have worked. They even survived the high winds yesterday, though when I only used two, the wind bent them over and broke one of them. There should also be some way to secure the ground flaps that "seal" the bottom edge of the cover to prevent bugs and anything else from getting under the edge into the enclosed space.

Gets the job done.I got this so that I can keep the birds, squirrels, and other wild critters away from my seeds and seedlings. This did the job, and the stakes in the corners help keep it down. Struggles a little bit in the wind, but overall a decent quality for what the product is.
