This adjustable angle magnet on a handle works fine. The magnet is strong enough to pick up small metal things from the floor. The handle may be a little short for most people, requiring you to bend over. I don’t have a problem with that. I especially like that the handle is telescoping. That makes it very convenient to store away.

This is one of those must have tools that can get you out of a situation. Unlike smaller magnetic pick ups, this one is a larger diameter with a hefty magnet. The handle extends to a full 3 feet. And the magnet will lift 36 lbs! It stores relatively small too. Can pick up keys, tools, anything ferrous you may have dropped into the pond, down a hole, into an engine bay! It's like a fire extinguisher, hope you never need it but glad it's there just in case! Recommended.
