These are great extensions, not only to prevent harness dragging, but also as another layer of theft protection in stored trailers.They are easy to remove and carry in the tow vehicle, with the hopes if someone cuts the locks and tries to take the trailer they would get stopped for not lights.The harness is well built and works well.

This is great, my friends trailer has a short plug for his truck, this lets me use his light plug, on my 4X4. It’s a perfect extension cord

My utility trailer has a long tongue and the light cable would not reach my truck's bumper. This works perfectly and won't touch the ground.

I read several reviews that said the cord didn’t stretch well but that is not a problem. It was fine. No excessive pressure on either end of the connector. Worked as expected

I purchased a 3 ft length and it was only about 18 inches when coiled. You really can't stretch it out very easily and probably wouldn't stay plugged in do to stiffness. I would recommend buying a straight one. I tried relaxing the coil with a heat gun and also hanging a weight in it without success.
