The product works great.Note to Ford Super Duty owners, Ford installs the plug receptacle upside down, so in order to see the testers status lights, you can loosen the set screw and rotate the head 90º!

Tool file is too thick for female side for an Airstream 7 pin connector, perhaps other models also. Should consider this before purchasing. Otherwise tool is well made and useful. The tester is handy if troubleshooting lights that do not work, can isolate it to the vehicle or trailer. Some parts of the tool is not clear what the use is, some instructions would be useful

This is a fabulous tool for all RV electrical connections. I use it in conjunction with electrical contact cleaner. The tester allows one person to check all outbound current to the trailer, which allows one to rule out issues on the tow vehicle (or not). I may get a more extensive kit to allow me to clean all light socket connections on the camper as well.

I used this tester and cleaning tools to eliminate problems pulling trailers of different makes and models within our fleet of trucks. Simple and robust tools that save a tremendous amount of time when we need to hookup and get rolling. It is a must for me and my fleet.

This is a wonder tool-I have been looking for something like this for 5 years. It cleans the male and female ends of the flat spade style plugs VERY VERY WELL--it also does the round style. The tester is a must have it lets ONE person know if the turn signals work, 24/7 power plug is working, flashers working-everything but the brakes. that is a two person job because someone needs to push on the brakes. all the other things you just turn on (such as turn signal), walk back and look at the plug and you immediately know you have power at the plug. This tool is outstanding and was a monumental find since I have been looking for so long. The price was comparable to anywhere else on the web.
