Well. They clean off the male spade connector fine. No way they work on cleaning the female side of the spade connector as they 2x too thick. Are they really diamond impregnated? Hard to tell. I'll know after reforming the tip on one of them to make it thick enough for the female connector. If it is just rough metal, it will end up flat with no abrasive qualities. I'll update once I have done the modification and tried it.

The abrasive coating is so rough and thick that I have yet to find a spade terminal that these will fit into. I guess they are OK for cleaning the male end, but I usually find a file does a better job. They do not fit into any of the female terminals I've tried, even on some higher gauge connections.

The tweezer style of the contact cleaner is fine. But even the small size is really quite too large. I don't think ill ever use the medium or large would rather have an extra small and extra extra small.
