The post on one of the tuning machines is extremely floppy/loose. Another also has some minor slop as well. Worried this will translate to less reliable stability and eventual premature failure.These cost around the same as Gotoh but so far with my limited experience, Gotoh quality control is better.

They are a good quality for a decent price. Great for an upgrade to a starter guitar or replacement for a medium grade guitar. Would buy again. They are smooth operating and seem like they would last quite a while. No new drilling was required the finer was perfect.

I have installed these on many older and budget instruments for the last few years and they have always greatly improved tuning stability. For the price there is no better option. Additionally I have used some locking Planet Waves tuners in the past that are no where near as stable and they are physically heavier than the wilkinson items. The planetwaves can cause neck dive..

I find electric guitars people don't want and I fix them up to working and playable levels. I have purchased these tuners for project guitars I do for music programs because they are relatively inexpensive, but good quality. They work great and hold tuning well. Easy to install and looks good on the headstock. I will continue to buy these as long as the customer service remains as good as it did when my last set showed up missing parts. They were quick to send me a replacement set. I will be ordering more for a beat up Telecaster I just bought for less than $100 in a estate sale to donate to another school music program.

These fit great on my non-Gibson SG and were a major upgrade from what was on there stock. I'd say they rank up there with some of the best I've used. Very, very smooth
