I see raccoons quite often around my house. I don't particularly hate them. But it was scary that they came into my garage for food. So I decided to do something. These devices have been working well so far. They have motion sensors that automatically trigger the flashlights when raccoons approach. I've seen how it did the job once. The racoon immediately turned around and left. The solar panel charges well. Although it also supports manual charging, I have never used it. The device remained working even it was cloudy on the day. I've no longer seen items in my garage being tipped over. Great result.

There is no need to worry about batteries needing to be replaced or wires having to be run across the yard since the solar panel that is located on top of the unit charges consistently throughout the day. At sunset, the gadget continued to have sufficient power to generate regular ultrasonic pulses and activate its brilliant flashing lights, even when the morning sky was cloudy. My ability to concentrate on watering and weeding rather than chasing away unwelcome visitors has been made possible by the design of the device, which is a real plug-and-forget design. My flower beds have been visited by a wide variety of animals, including deer, squirrels, and even cats from the neighborhood. However, ever since I installed this device, I have seen each species disappear within minutes of the first high-pitched pulse or strobe flash. Because the detecting range could be adjusted, I was able to fine-tune the coverage. I established a broad zone of thirty feet surrounding my valued tomato row and a more restricted zone around my chicken coop, so ensuring that both regions remained undisturbed. It seems that the relentless raccoon that used to dig under the fence has gone on, since there are no fresh tracks that have been discovered night after night.

I'm gonna be honest. I did not think these things were going to work very well, seeing as how ugly do is flash. But surprisingly enough, a lot of things that would invade our yard, especially of small vegetable garden outback, seem to be terrified of these little flashing red lights. It was a surprising win and. there's no chemicals. There's no noise.Even though they just sit there and they flash. Bounus - if you ever watch something approach your garden especially like it does and see these things start flashing. It just terrifies small creatures and they scurry off. It's really kind of funny. So not only is it highly effective and completely safe, it's also entertaining. Works on small creatures like Gophers and Chipmunks and seems to scare away a little bit of insects as well too, so it's kind of hilarious. But yeah, the flashing lights seem to strike fear in the heart of the pest community lol.

I got a pack of four solar animal repellers, which came with five clear zip ties for hanging them. On the back of each repeller, there's a power button I need to press to turn it on. To check if it's working, I just cover the solar panel with my hand. The eyes on the front should blink red when it's activated.The repellers have a face that looks like a predator, though to me it resembles a Transformer's face more but still scary looking. The back shows they're made in China and lists the solar panel dimensions in metric: 50 by 22 mm. They have a built-in 400 mAh rechargeable battery. I noticed something about an AA battery in the description, but I can't find any compartment to add extra batteries.Each unit has CE certification. At night, the red blinking eyes are visible from a distance, and the lights keep blinking throughout the entire night.

Raccoons were frequently invading my backyard at night, destroying the vegetable and fruits I grow there. It had been a very annoying problem. So I ordered these repellents. Fortunately they didn't let me down. They have been standing in my garden for over three weeks. It has been peaceful and I didn't lose a single tomato in the past weeks. The devices are mostly self-operating. They charge with solar energy during the day and continue working throughout the night. The motion sensor on the device is pretty sensitive. Whenever there is anything moving in front of it, including when I was walking by, it activates the flashing lights and ultrasonic wave. They are fairly effective for raccoons.

Setting up these solar animal repellers took less than ten minutes for me, and I liked that no extra tools were needed. I placed one near my chicken coop, one by my vegetable garden, and one next to my back porch where raccoons had been showing up. The devices are lightweight but do not feel too flimsy, and the small solar panels on top started charging right away once I set them outside. I think the flashing red lights are the most noticeable feature, and although they are small, they do a good job of standing out at night. The rainstorm we had last week did not seem to bother the units, which made me feel a little more confident leaving them out all the time. I do think it would be nice if there were a way to adjust the motion sensitivity, but at the same time, they catch movement well enough for my needs. The solar charging seems to last overnight without a problem, even on cloudy days. I like using something that does not need much upkeep and can stay outside without worrying if it will break after a little bad weather.
