This simple safety mechanism made my propane heater fully functional again. The existing tilt cutoff switch was failing and required constant pressure on the propane switch heat selector to work. Rather than spend $100 on a new heater, I spent $11 to get 4 and 10 minutes to replace the tilt switch. It’s two screws and two wires. My advice: make sure to have a spade terminal set on hand, and take a picture of the wiring before removing the existing part. The spade terminals on this replacement part were bigger than the OEM terminals, so I had to replace the wire connectors to get them to work on the tilt switch.
