Protects my outside female gas connection from dirt and the weather. The loop takes a bit of stretching to get over the collar, I used a screwdriver to make it go, but it is remarkable resilient. Works great.

I've been needing to replace the male quick connect/disconnect plug for some time but could not find them locally, so I have been using a "cork". I just noticed these on Amazon and took a chance they would fit. I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly for the quick connect/disconnect hardware that came with my natural gas Weber Genesis Silver-C BBQ grill purchased in 2000.

As others have mentioned, it seems the 1/4" and 3/8" parts are all mixed, so it's hard to know what will be received. I got a mix of both, so some fit OK and the others fall off easily. It seems impossible to contact the seller to correct it, so I guess I just have to live with what I got.

These male and female caps protect my 3/8" quick-disconnect propane fittings that are installed outdoors in the weather and wind. I use them for temporary connection of my portable fire pit. The QDs sit, unused, most of the time.The original caps died in the sun, allowing the wind to blow fine sand into the QD, making them difficult to operate. Also, the original bright brass corroded a bit on the inside, making fit-up difficult. I sprayed some WD-40 in and worked everything back to functionality.Finding replacement caps locally proved impossible, even at my local well-equipped Propane Shop that has almost everything gas related.This set will last me for many years.

I don't understand what quick connect this product is about!... It's only for covering 1/4 inch NTP connectors (males and females)...It has nothing to do with quick connect connectors!... Very deceiving...The ended up in the a back of some drawer .....
