Great little tank. The filter works great and the light is bright. I really like the molded sides. The lid is a little flimsy but not an issue for me. It's the perfect size for my betta Frank, he seems to be happy. I did purchase a heater for it to keep my boy safe and happy.

I love this tank and so does my beta fish. It is just the right size, I can decorate it the way I like and the lighting is very good.

I can't fully review this because mine broke in shipping and I hadn't opened it until after the return window. There was no damage to the box and my initial need for this as a rescue beta tank was no longer valid so had no reason to open immediately. But no damage to the box, nor the outside box, so it wasn't apparent something was broken, and there is no padding in the packing box around the glass so I would anticipate a very high percentage of these breaking in transit. Check yours immediately to make sure it isn't broken. I would also fill it and sit it out overnight to make sure it doesn't leak, this is something that should be done with any new aquarium.So moving past that, I was able to play with the lighting and filter and everything else. The whole setup is nice looking and well contained, it will need a heater for most fish and shrimp. The lighting and filter work fine, the lighting is not sufficient for most plant growth, maybe for anubias and java ferns and different mosses, the filter moves water fine and is appropriately sized for this tank. Again, this is a small budget tank, it's not going to be perfect out of the box at this price, it's a good starting point for a small desktop tank.Speaking generally to buyers and the images on the product page, this is only a 2 gallon tank. The only fish or inhabitants this would be suitable for is a "single beta" or handful freshwater shrimp like neocardinas and similar and maybe a handful of very small fish like celestial pearl danios or chili rasboras and similar, all of these will need a heater as well. The images on the product page should not be followed, a mini parrot is not a real fish, the image is a hybrid of a blood parrot and/or a convict cichlid, neither have any business in a tank under 40 - 50 gallons, and the other "small fish" are varients of black skirt tetras, also fish that are far too large for a 2 gallon. You have very few stocking options with a tank this small, just know that before getting into any sub 10 gallon tank even.

I have had multiple fish tanks over the years, and this is a pretty decent fish thank with great lighting for the money. The instructions were non-existent for setup, so you do have to figure a few things out if you have never had a fish tank with filter before. As with all filters make sure you rinse the cotton filter out under the sink before installing or your water could be cloudy even without adding fish. I forgot to do that at first so good thing I let it run for 3 days before getting fish to put in. Once I did a water change and let it run again for couple days before adding my betta it worked great, and water was clear.

It’s a cute little Tank, but the only downside is the water current that exits the filter, it’s pretty strong and makes my betta struggle to swim. I’d advise buying an overhead filter so he is more comfortable swimming. But overall it’s a nice tank.

Perfect size betta tank! My only issues are how the filter attaches seems a little wobbly and the fact that the lid doesn't come off, makes it a little challenging to clean but I figured it out. Other than that it's a cute little tank with a bright light and it was easy to assemble.

I ordered everything I needed to set up this fish tank for the grandkids. It arrived broken. Glass was not cracked it was broken all the way through in 2 different spots. It had foam parking (8) corners with thin plastic wrap, inside cardboard box then in a larger box with literally 2 pieces of paper. I'll leave it at that. I did like size and look and if I can get one unbroken I assume I'll like it and give it more stars. Reordered. Fingers crossed.*UPDATE *Received the replacement, it was not broken. It's a nice size for a small fish tank. Lighting is good, filter is quite. Seeing the water temperature is a plus. Directions not all that clear. Happy with the purchase.Had to buy separately, rocks, heater, decorations and air pump. I added water conditioner to remove chlorine and add microbes.
