These appear to be pretty much your normal run-of-the-mill cellophane wrapper. It's certainly a lot less work using these than hand-cutting wax wrappers, and certainly better than plastic.

The functionality of the product is horrendously terrible. It does not loosely let go of the taffy when unrolling it. Instead, this film, that I personally think is made with harsh chemicals, stuck to the taffy making it possible to take out as a whole. The taffy was torn up into gooey pieces with the film wrapper still stuck to it. It was a sticky mess. Do not buy get actual wax paper or parchment paper instead.
