Ce n’est pas 506 boutons pressionsC’est plutôt 506 pièces pour bouton pression et ça prend 4 pièces pour faire 1 bouton pression

Good quality, but the snaps are tight and take some force to undo. Need good quality fabric or leather, or it will rip out.

Don't buy if you're looking for heavy duty snaps. The metal if soft. It warps with hammering

I purchased this set to replace some lost denim buttons and to place new buttons for jeans that are a bit large in size. This kit includes several different button color options and contains all the pieces including a leveraged press tool to securely fasten the buttons to the article of clothing with minimal effort. I have had no issues on any of the clothing I’ve used these buttons on and find this kit to be a fantastic value. I highly recommend this kit as a must have for any home.

Snaps work great; but, the included hammer is too small and basically useless with this kit. Since I have other hammers, not a serious negative. Would have bought the kit without the hammer for the same price.

Only tested with one set of snaps but seems decent for the price. I like that the parts move in line instead of in an arc. Really need to squeeze to get the parts to hold tightly.

Thus tool claims to be a heavy duty snap toolWhile the snaps were very heavy duty the hole punch is just a hand hole punch its self is a hnd hole punch. Which if you are using on heavy duty things is almost impossible to make a hole, which is a bummer. I am going to have to buy a whole other tool just for that. I would advise anyone to just buy the tool that does both.

The kit is complete and works mostly great. I expected to have more trouble with the snaps, but it was actually the punch that gave me the most trouble. For my test piece I may have chosen poorly, the punch may need sharpening, or I may have needed a better surface- likely a combo of that and more.To do the hole punch, you take the punch and simply hit it with a hammer, poking a hole thru the leather. You NEED to have this part on scrap wood. DO NOT do it on a hard surface like cement, stone, or steel. You need something for the punch to sink in a little bit and not break. I used some old yard lumber, but I think something with less cracks would have worked better. I also had a reeeeeally thick piece of treated leather that may not have been the best to start with, but I digress. I used a larger hammer and eventually got my two holes pokes thru. On to the snaps- you have two sets, each with a pokey piece and each with a receiving end. Make sure the two pieces are the right pieces to snap together, and then just hammer with both the special tool and the included metal block. This you DO want a hard surface for- the special tools' rounded side easily spread and bound the snaps, and I had a functional test snap. I've used handheld tools for similar purposes, and I actually found those more frustrating- and I doubt I have the force to use them on the leather. This set was complete, and the instructions carry you thru the process. You just may want to seek out another punch depending on your materials.

This set includes both a plate for manually tapping snaps in with a hammer (sometimes that might be easier if you are setting a long row), as well as the tool (because sometimes you are repairing an item and it's just way easier to set a new snap in place than remove everything to get it to your bench). A piece of thin leather will help different shaped/size snaps fit more snuggly in the depression. There were a number of touches I appreciated with this kit:- The tool uses a simple mechanism: very little to go wrong- The snaps came in a nice solid plastic box which closes securely, divided by type- The tool also comes in a solid plastic box which closes securely.- It comes with instructions that clearly picture which part is needed at which step (fold once more and it fits nicely in the box)- In addition to the manual base and setting pin, it comes with a small screwdriver, hole punch, and spring loaded measuring tape.- The measuring tape is just the right size to oblige the tool to sit properly in the case.- Both the setting pin and the receiving plate on the tool can be replaced. I just wish I knew where to find the extra pieces.- The handle is comfortable, easy to squeeze (the downward slope helps a lot for smaller hands), not too heavy and made of metal which I have no reason to think won't last.- The snaps click together solidly, but can be undone without struggle. All in all, this is a great kit to have on hand for heavier snaps.
