I needed a few locknuts for a CNC/3D printer project I am working on with a friend, and this set has several sizes more than what we will need, and a plentiful supply of them. The larger sizes provide fewer nuts, but those are not needed as often.Before I would just buy the ones I needed at the local hardware store, and the cost of this kit of 131 nuts is what I would have paid for 10 or 15 at t store, at most. Great deal.

These lock nuts are so easy to lose, especially the smaller ones like you would find on an RC car, so its nice to have replacements when needed. In many cases, these are also preferable to a standard nut with a flat washer and lock washer -- certainly look better.Case is nice, nuts are high quality - highly recommended!

I ordered these to keep in my garage. I like having various sizes of nuts and bolts on hand so I don't have to run to the hardware store every time I'm working on something. I keep a couple of large drawers full of items like this. These are well made and sized correctly. I haven't had the opportunity to use them on a project yet but they will come in handy when I do. I did have to replace the case since it came broken and all of the nuts were lose in the packing. I have several old plastic containers that I used to store them. Overall, good product.

I have several hobbies at home that will benefit from having an assortment of high-quality lock nuts on-hand. My RC hobby will be the biggest user of adding lock nuts in place of the standard nuts, where vibration is common. For these to be stainless steel AND black oxide coating is overkill IMO, but so be it.One thing I wish this set did differently would be to eliminate the 2 largest sized lock nuts in this set. To use the space to only give you (3) 7/16 nuts and (4) 3/8 nuts would have been better served by supplying a larger quantity of the much more common 1/4 & 5/16 sized nuts IMO.

My son restored an old boat trailer that utilized 1/2-12 nylon nuts. He cleaned then spray painted the old ones to match the rest of the trailer. However, these nylon nuts from Mamfous is a much better option. They have a nice black finish and look better than the old ones. They are also machined well and thread onto the bolts effectively.
