It works perfect for my 18 Boston whaler. I ordered a bigger size to make sure it holds on the sand. The six foot stainless steel chain is heavy enough to hold down tied. Perfect 👌

Additional information - The shackles are 3/8" diameter, and larger diameter than chain links. Shackles threaded eye end just fits through an end link. Shackle pin just fits through any middle link.
