Product literally was dust. I was unable to spread the moss around the base of a plant because it disintegrated as I pulled it out of the package. A complete waste of money.

We used this to top off the fake soil on an artificial tree and we are very pleased with the result. The color is natural, unlike the bright green of fake moss. It's also safe for pets and non-toxic. I really like the way it looks and would buy it again. Great buy for the money. This size bag will cover about 4-5 plants.

I purchased this product to cover the top layer of an indoor fake potted plant and was pleasantly surprised by how realistic this moss looked. It even smelled like soil and dirt. I received a few comments thinking that it was real since it’s so realistic. You’re supposed to extend the moss and then spray it with water to complete the look but as you can see from the picture, it still looks great even before the step of spraying it with water. I still had a lot of the product left even after using it for the plant since it pulls apart and expands so it’s really great for the value considering the size.

If you use this on your living plants, and once you water your plants the moss has a strong chemical smell. I would only recommend this with fake plants.

Overall this moss is great for filling in gaps for craft projects but it is a bit crumbly when you try to pull pieces off. I would say that you could use this easily in a potted plant. There was so smell or anything, which is good when it comes to artificial mosses. I had some trouble glueing the smallest shreds into my wreath shown here. It does have a nice color and adds texture.
