These motors are impressively heavy-duty, offering much more power and torque than the smaller versions typically sold. I’m using them with an ESP32 and a motor controller, and they perform flawlessly with adjustable speed, making them versatile for various projects. However, they are larger than standard motors at this voltage, so make sure your design accommodates the size. I'm currently building a custom fan, and the motors work almost too well—at max speed, they can be quite dangerous due to their power. While perfect for heavy-duty applications, be aware they don't come with shafts, so you'll need to buy those separately. Overall, their strength, reliability, and flexibility make them ideal for any tough project.

These are great little motors, perfect for hobby work, and easily installed to drive propellers in larger airplane models. The motor starts operating around 1v DC, smooths out around 2v, and then creates an audible hum of varying pitch as you increase from there to 12v. 2 volts is really the sweet spot in terms of an absolutely quiet motor if that's your goal. Reversing polarity reverses the spin direction so this is great for an installation where you have external control of voltage and polarity. The attachment nubs are designed for easy solder connections.

I like to tinker and make random things for my young kids. These are perfect for me to do that. I currently upgraded an old/cheap RC car and now it’s faster. So far no complaints but I also don’t have much invested in them so price is nice and if they were to fail they’re not in anything too critical.

I'm not expecting a ton for the price but at a minimum terminals should be packaged so they don't get smashed or worse, broken off. Once I've bent everything back into shape, I can tell you that these motors work fine for the small hobby project one off that you might have in mind. Don't expect high reliability or production grade performance at the price point, this is strictly a hobbyist project motor.
