I have a 14in slab saw that I bought this blade for. It is a great saw, cuts really clean and quieter then other blades I had used. I previously cut with an Agate Eater blade which had great longevity but was a thicker blade so I lost a lot of material with each cut. Amazing product

I modified my 7 inch tile saw to accept this 8 inch blade by extending the gap in the table and 3D printing a spacer to raise the table out of the water tray a little. Works a treat!I will say that this blade is a bit on the light side when it comes to the diamond grit on the edge of the blade. What is there seems to be well affixed, but compared to my friend's lap saw with a professional blade, her's is absolutely a world faster than mine, despite the RPMs and motor watts being comparable since she's also using a modified tile saw.THAT said, for the hobbyist rock slicer in me, it's been working well and is an improvement over my old worn out blade.

I’ve used stone cutting blades for a few years now. This type of blade works well for cutting medium to some harder stones. It will cut hard if they are not too large. Any blade can get hung up with big rocks. My machine is for the serious hobbyist. This blade works well on agates and jasper. Obviously, on softer stones as well, just slow down the speed. The diamond edge will wear down in time. But, since mine is new, I expect to be able to use it for some time.

I have to apologize. Because I want to give this a proper review... but I did not pay attention and ordered the wrong item. As such, I don't have the proper setup to use this with. I will say, from my handling of it (as I realized it was not what I had thought), it feels really sturdy and I suspect would complete it's intended rock cutting tasks just fine... I am sorry I cannot offer more than that at this time. Maybe I will have to start rock cutting and get myself a lapidary table. lol

This blade worked really well. I used it for cutting rocks in half. It worked for this but it did not last as long as I thought it would. The blade is very sturdy, no flex in it at all. It appears to have lots of material in the blade edge and sides. It fit the arbor and did not need a bushing. (Bushings don’t work on my machine). I recommend this blade for cutting rocks but you might only get 6 hours of cutting on it.
