This bulk set of sharpeners is perfect for my classroom. I mostly teach adults but I have been surprised when some of them ask for a sharpener and need one with a bigger slot because they buy thicker pencils that don’t fit in the electric sharpener. I also have students who prefer to sharpen the old fashioned way as the electric sharpener can eat away at cheaper pencils at fast rate if they don’t know how long to keep it in there. These sharpeners have a container for the trash and the set comes with plenty so it’s not biggie if they forget to return and I can have the students who use them most often just keep them for themselves. These also make good little prizes for class games.

These are really nice and a great deal! Love that there's a lots so the shavings don't just fall out, the lid isn't perfectly symmetrical so you do have to put it on the right way but not a big deal. Highly recommend!

This is a very cost-effective way to get a lot of sharpeners, which is great if you need them for a classroom or large group.I would call these sharpeners pretty standard. They're not the best sharpeners I've ever seen, but not the worst either.It's easy to pull off the lid and empty the shavings... almost too easy. You'll definitely need to train your kids to hold these sharpeners right-side up, not sideways, or they'll end up dumping shavings all over themselves. That's because the lid doesn't snap on tight, so it does slip off if you're not comfortable. Still, this is much better than the sharpeners that don't have any lids or casing at all. :)I sharpened nearly an entire (extra-large) box of colored pencils with one of these sharpeners, and it sharpened almost all of them quite nicely. It did snag on a few pencils, which ended up splintering the ends and making the pencils look really sloppy. I'd expect that with off-brand colored pencils, but since mine are a well-known brand, I wasn't expecting to end up with any broken pencils. I'm really not sure whether to blame the sharpeners or the pencils, or blame it on user error. Either way, out of almost 50 pencils, only two or three broke. So, again, I'd say the quality of these sharpeners is average.

I've been really impressed with the quality and usefulness of these sharpeners. They've made a noticeable difference in our daily routines and classroom organization. Everything feels reliable and thoughtfully designed, which is exactly what we need in a busy school environment. The kids love the colors and have no trouble independently using or emptying them. I’d definitely recommend them to others.

These pencil sharpeners are small and effective. I prefer these over electric sharpeners in a classroom because they don't make any noise. The variety of colors is nice. The sharpener works well, and pencils can be sharpened from band new to a sharp point. I also like that this sharpener captures the shavings AND has a lid to keep the small lead grinds in. They're easy to clean and maintain. At about 35 cents each, I'm also not too worried if a few get broken or if a student forgets to return one. I have plenty of replacements. This is a great buy for the price.

My wife got these because she homeschools our kids and teaches art to other homeschool children. We had lost our electric sharpener and she was getting frustrated with all the other pencil sharpeners we had. She ordered this and it made her so happy to have sharpeners that actually sharpened the pencils well. They are happy bright colors, which help the kids remember which one was theirs. She also appreciated how easy it is to dump the shavings as that compartment slides easily off of the sharpener.

I really like these! They're wonderful for a classroom. They hold the pencil shavings, and the blades are great. Currently, I'm using a few for my makeup pencils and the rest will be donated, but they feel really good! Super cute, colorful, and easy for kids!
