I got this Centvicam automatic feeder for my grandkid’s new mini French bulldog, Bella, and it’s been pretty good so far. The build feels solid—not flimsy—and it does what it’s supposed to. Setting it up and using the app wasn’t too complicated, which was a relief.The 6L food storage is plenty big for Bella, so we don’t have to refill it every day. I like that it has a camera and two-way audio, so we can check in on her and even talk to her when we’re away. The motion alerts are a nice bonus, too.It’s not perfect though—the camera doesn’t move, so you only see one angle, and the app connection took a bit of patience to get right. Also, portion sizes are based on time, not exact weight, so it’s not super precise if you want to measure out exact amounts.All in all, for the price, it’s a solid choice if you want a smart feeder with some cool extras for a small dog like Bella.

Expected more from This when I had to replace my old automatic feeder that I had for 5 years . I couldn’t get same one I had so I found this one since had camera option .Yes it does get stuck so that is not true that it doesn’t , doesn’t alert you that the food is stuck like my old one did . Doesn’t tell you food is low like my old one did as well . Don’t recommend as this is worrisome for those leaving your pets and relying on this ..the camera seeing them eat is only the good part

We purchased this for our one cat. The purpose was two-fold: the vet only wants us to feed him 1/4 cup of food twice a day and when we're out-of-town, I can check in on him with the camera. I angled the feeder so I also can see his water fountain so I know he's drinking too. It was easy to set up, and the pictures are clear. He has already learned the sound of the kibble hitting the dish and comes running. We went away recently for 2 nights and it gave me peace of mind to see he's eating and drinking. I took off 1 star because it doesn't have an option for recording to a SD card, so once my trial period is over I will have to pay for cloud recording. If you don't care about looking back and only want to peek in live, it's a great unit. I did post a question about the SD card on Amazon, and the seller responded quickly letting me know this model does not have the SD card option.

This automatic feeder probably exceeds my needs. I was a little intimidated by it at first so it took me a while to download the app and get started. Once I did, it was super easy.Pros:It holds quite a bit of foodIt is very programable in terms of how much food gets dispensed, at what times and on what days. Very programable!It has a camera that will send pics when motion is detected so you can see your cats using the feeder.You can speak to your cats via your phone as they are by the feeder.It has been reliably dispensing food all week at programmed times.Cons: because I am a little older and not quite tech fluent, the set up and app are a little difficult for me. Once I figured it out, it is easy it just took me a while.
