I got these for the side of my refrigerator, which sits by my sink, to hang Swedish dishcloths from. I also have one for rubberbands. Therefore, I can't speak to how well they do hanging something heavy, but I would suspect they'd work up to a certain point. I just don't know what that point is. They seem sturdy and strong and serve the purpose I needed them for. The hook screws into the base. They don't arrive looking sparkling and new. They may have some imperfections on the surface and almost looked used, but they weren't. That didn't really matter though.

I should have ordered more. They work great on a magnetic board. They are well made have handled everything I've needed to hang on them. I will buy again.

Strong magnet! I use these to hang my oven mitts to the side of my fridge. Super handy and these hooks never budge. Highly recommend.

Work great, but the magnet does not hold strong to Ferritic stainless steels including grades 409, 430, and 439.

I tried different magnetic hooks (returned them all), but this one was a keeper. Sturdy, holds fast. I use them in my home office and on the refrigerator. I'm ordering more.

These are incredibly strong. I bought several packs for the laundry room to hang items that I don’t want to run through the dryer. Much easier and quicker than getting out the drying rack, especially if I plan on ironing the items anyways. My laundry units are stacked, so I pop these on the upper side of the dryer, and they don’t budge. When life can be made easier, I’m totally in for that.

The magnet is strong. hard to move on the fridge once its on. I use it for kitchen towels.Do not understand why some reviews say they do not hold well.
