This DIAL MANUFACTURING 7617 Cooler Thermostat works great. Was easy to install but you have to take note of the wires location on your old thermostat and the numbers noted by each wire on the back where attached. I've included pictures of the old thermostat for reference. Of course turn off the electric before installing and make sure the new thermostat is in the off position before turning electric back on. This is going to save me a lot of money and will keep my house at a more steady temp while on. No more having to get up to turn off when it gets to cold or turning on when it gets to hot. The only thing I wished that it came in white, but for what it does I can live with that.

It works as well as can be expected. If accuracy is needed, there is no product that can deliver accuracy, without running thermostat wiring and installing a control box. It works well but not very accurate as far as temperature goes. It is worth the price, though.

This works very nicely. My old one was so crusted with dust that I could bang on the wall to get it to turn off. Nice to finally have a digital display and the pre-wetting cycle. It was easy to install

I had a 6 position rotary switch which means the cooler is either on or off. No big deal when I'm home to switch it myself, but leaves few options when you're gone for the day. Now the cooler automatically turns on and off throughout the day some I'm not coming home to an insanely hot or unecessarily humid home at the end of the day. Definitely recommend. My old controller was set up a little differently than the I structure described, so it took a hot minute to figure out the connections, but the instructions were clear and simple so it was an easy install.

It was super easy to install this in place of an existing rotary switch control. High and low speed settings function as expected and the automatic thermostat control with a pre-wet cycle is really all I wanted. The temperature sensor is responsive and looks like a simple thermistor. It was simple to calibrate it once installed. Overall this is exactly what we needed and no more.

We used this for our swamp cooler. It has been working perfectly so far. We did have to calibrate it

Installs easily. Instructions are ok and there is lots of internet resources. Accuracy is mediocre at best. It fluctuates in accuracy so adjusting it is weak.

The Dial Thermostat has simple instructions as to what color of wires do what.First you need to confirm how many actual wires and colors you need.a. The three important wires are: Green or Ground, White (neutral) or Common, Black Line in.b. The Green and White both need to be added to the remaining color coded wires to complete the installation.c. Determine if you have a two speed blower or not.d. The remaining wires will all fit in a ½ conduit along with the white and Green wires.Second you need to determine if the Thermostat and wires will all fit in the wall box.a. If the thermostat and wires will not you will need to buy a box extender (which will make your job easier) Unless you are just replacing an old thermostat. When you have all of this figured out the rest is easy. The thermostat works great.I have an old one that has been working great for over ten years.
