The Rogierra 77080 Harmonic Balancer Socket Tool (19 mm) is a standout tool that delivers both in form and function. At first glance, it's impressive—massively thicker and heavier than your typical 19 mm deep impact socket. When I used it with a HF Hercules 1/2" drive impact wrench on a Honda J35 engine, I was amazed at how effortlessly the crankshaft bolt came off.In the past, I’ve struggled with crankshaft bolts, especially on Honda engines, often facing resistance, difficulty, and frustration. There are also plenty of documented cases on the internet and YouTube proving this point. But with this Rogierra socket, the job was done without a hitch. Its robust design and superior build quality make it the perfect choice. If you're looking for a heavy-duty socket to remove that difficult crankshaft bolt, the Rogierra 77080 is definitely worth considering. It’s well-built, durable, and made my work a lot easier.

There are two sizes needed for a start and this 19 mm is one (the other is 22mm). With this your efforts to take that crank bolt off will not be spent repeatedly twisting a common impact socket and instead will be directed at the bolt you are actually trying to remove. It will make the difference.

This heavy-duty socket is a must-have if you're tackling the harmonic balancer bolt on a Honda (e.g., for timing belt replacement). Before purchasing, I was torn between this one (the more affordable option) and the Lisle socket. After comparing, I found they both weigh the same (1.9 lbs), so I opted for this budget-friendly choice. It worked like a charm with my 460 lb-ft impact wrench—took just 2 seconds to get the bolt off!Just a note: I replaced my timing belt five years ago, so the bolt wasn’t as tight or seized as one that’s been untouched since factory installation. I also used penetrating oil to help loosen it.The Honda balancer bolt is notorious for being stubborn, and you’ll see plenty of YouTube videos where people struggle, break tools, or lose their patience before it even budges. Be prepared for a challenge, but with the right tools, you'll get it done. Good luck!

Heavy, beefy and big - this socket will certainly carry plenty of kinetic energy to your Honda crank bolt for water pump / timing belt jobs.Don't expect miracles however ... hooked up to my pedestrian Porter Cable consumer impact gun, the bolt did not budge. You are still going to need ~ 300 ft*lbs or more probably to break a Honda crank bolt free.I purchased a big Milwaukee impact gun and combined with this socket, I actually giggled like a school kid at how easy it was to remove. Compared to my first time when I had 6 feet of pipe, extensions and jack stands to break a Honda crank bolt free, this was an awesome experience.
