My mower was ok when starting it with a cold engine, but as soon as the engine got hot, it became impossible to start. I even used a makeshift electric assited start, but it would not start when hot. After I replaced the coil, with this coil that I'm reviewing, the mower now 5starts when cold or hot. So I am happy and would give 5 stars if the mfg. would tell you how close to the flywheel the coil should be mounted. I am guessing that there is some optium gap dimension between the flywheel and this coil, so would it kill the mfg. to print that gap dimension on the box?

There was no spark from the spark plug even after replacing it with a brand new one and the kill wire worked fine, so a bad magneto was the only other possibility. This fixed it perfectly. I used a business card to get the spacing between the magnets and magneto correct.
