So I was a little skeptical but obviously the general idea is you’re using a slightly insulated ice block. Cooled coolers down before using, besides cold beverage, gel ice blocks were used with this on top. Honestly kept things much colder because of having a frozen ice block above everything else. Works as intended, time will tell for durability.

I go fishing on the weekends and bring a big cooler, and raiding my fridge ice maker or paying a lot of money for bags of ice isn't convenient or cost effective. This plastic bladder filled with frozen ice is a great solution, it's cost effective while not wasting water. Follow the instructions, do not overfill as it expands when frozen, you don't want to damage the bladder. The bladder itself is well built, good construction, should be very durable. There are limitations of course, as this doesn't "surround" your items the way loose ice cubes does. This is ideal for using in an insulated cooler that will help transfer the cold throughout, ideal for keeping items cool that are already cold, such as drinks from the fridge or already frozen items.Make sure to measure the cooler or container you want to use this in, that it fits the way you want need it to.Overall, very happy and recommend!

Works exactly as described. You fill this up and freeze it then you can use it in a color or lunch bag. The more you fill it up the bigger the ice pack . Feels very strong so you don’t have to worry about rips or leaks and comes with mounts to mount inside a cooler. Overall great price so much better priced than buying traditional ice packs or ice from the store. Not to mention this is 7.5 pounds of ice.

Finally got a chance to use this ice pack on a recent trip. I have a lot of coolers. With all the sports my kids have been in, and camping, and... I keep "other" ice packs in the freezer all the time. They are however the solid "blue liquid" type, and they take up a lot of room in my freezer. This bag takes up no room in my freezer long term and does a great job when needed. Just fill and freeze, so simple!Very durable, fits well in all but my smallest cooler. Well thought out and worth every penny. I'm going to need more. Then it's out with the "blue liquid" packs. 5 Stars!

I got this to use with my Coleman cooler and it’s a nice fit for the 25qt size. I’m not entirely sold on the using snaps as an attachment method but it does work and it’s holding strong so far. I’m probably going to get another one for the opposite wall and then hopefully won’t have to use ice at all inside the cooler. The icepack feels tough and I’m not worried about puncturing it or ripping it; it’s definitely something that’ll stand up to regular use. It seems to stay frozen inside of the cooler most of the day as well, so overall, I think it works quite well but make sure you get the right size for your cooler!

I was sort of intrigued by this, but I'm not really sure how I'll use it. It's nice that if it does develop a leak, it'll just be water and not some unknown goo. And the plastic feels very sturdy. I also like the idea of the mounting snaps, though I'm not sure I'll actually use them. That said, it's very big for an ice pack, so in some ways less useful than having a few smaller packs. It's also fiddly to fill. The size makes it hard to get under a faucet, and it's kind of hard to tell when it's full. It's really easy to over-fill, and I had to weigh it and let out a fair amount of water to get to the target weight. It's not supposed to dome when it's full, but the sides don't necessarily want to expand, so it seems like the top domes even when it's not nearly full. After I froze it, I left it out in the open in my garage which is about 50 degrees right now, where it stayed frozen solid for about a day, and stayed cold for another day or 2. I just don't know that it saves all that much space over regular ice packs when not in use, and the pain of having to fill it is not great. We'll see how it performs in the cooler.
