I read somewhere on the internet that for full functionality, one must hold in the 'SELECT' button for 3-5 seconds. Not sure what that means, but I will find out eventually.

This splitter helped my home theater setup tremendously. I now have more HDMI connections than I could ever use all in one splitter. The picture quality is 100% excellent even on my 100 inch screen. Perfectly mimic the screens picture on another TV for added fun to gaming night or watching movies. I wish I got it sooner. Easy plug and play setup. Compatible for the newest and most tech savvy Smart TVs.

I needed this t send the signal from my PS5 to both the TV and a secondary display. I did this becaue sometimes I will watch TV and play video games at the same time and I don't want to have to move cables around.Whatever splitter I got I needed it to be able to handle 4k at at least 120hz as well as Surround sound audio. I invested in a new Sonos surround system with Dolby Atmos so I needed the audio to be correct as well. This has been perfect so far! There no issues with audio or video, everything synmcs up perfectly and there no handshake issues. Every format of video that the PS5 supports is being sent to the TV's correctly. I couldn't ask for anything better!

There was output, but only 1440 or 1080. Couldn’t get anything else to work properly. It’s a grainy 1080 too.

The CORSAHD 8K 2x1 splitter offers some very useful features, as outlined in the Amazon product description. Although I don’t have any 8K devices to test, the video and audio output at 4K and 1080p is excellent, with no noticeable degradation. The EDID functionality (4K/1080p/Copy) on output two works perfectly, and I can confirm the HDCP 2.2 bypass. The included fold-out manual is quite basic and doesn't provide much information beyond what's available on the Amazon product page. There’s also no mention of the firmware update feature, and the CORSAHD website listed in the manual either remains consistently down or may not exist at all at the time of this review. While this device shows promising features, the lack of detailed information and support is lacking. However, my rating is largely based on the fact that it has performed well during my testing.

I originally got this HDMI splitter so I could split my FireTV stick between my TV and a wireless HDMI transmitter going to another TV, but unfortunately the transmitter isn’t compatible with a splitter. The splitter works wells under normal use though. I had it split between the two TVs just using cables and it worked perfectly. There is no noticeable delay between the two outputs or between the input and outputs. Also the output quality seemed the same as the input source quality.
