Your cart is empty. This 2-way wideband splitter is used exclusively on DIRECTV SWM satellite dishes or SWM multiswitches to distribute the signal to receivers. The SPLIT2MRV features one port (red) with a DC path for remotely feeding power back through the splitter up to the dish or multiswitch, making it convenient for indoor and outdoor use. Used this in line wit a McDuory Outdoor powered antenna for the power pass through. It works well. No detectable signal loss or picture quality difference.

I purchased this splitter to get DirecTV service on two televisions, but that is not possible. I guess DirecTV is onto this practice, or perhaps the signals these days are just too big, but when I tried to split the cable coming into TV#1 and get service for a second television, it won't work. Picture is in and out, some channels are sort of OK but others won't display at all, and when you change the channel on TV#1, the picture on TV#2 is apt to disappear entirely ("No service"). In this day and age, I'm not sure if this sort of splitter is worth a cent. (This used to work fine back in my college days, you could power as many tv's as you wanted with just a single cable line coming into the house. Once we had a single cable split to 6 different televisions, no problem. No more.) Not the splitter's fault, I suppose, but I wouldn't waste your money.

These were ordered for my Directv seutp. Small but sturdy and original DirecTV marked item. Great product and great price. Many reviews stated they didn't receive a DirecTV marked item and didn't have the termination caps, I on the other hand Did. These were the original ones and included the caps. Work great, good packaging and fast shipping. Fixed my searching for satellite issues.
