The good: The valves and connectors provided good flow, and there was no leakage from either the valve or connector. The straight connector fit snuggly into the hydration pack tube.The bad: The right-angle connector is a little wider than the straight connector. I was unable to get the connector into the hydration pack tube, and, in fact, split the tub. I had no issues with the straight connector. When compared to my current bite valve (see photo), the thickness of the walls of the bite valve is less than that of my current valve (this valve looks to be about half as thick). When placed on the connector, you can see the connector through the valve sleeve, and a little downward pressure on valve end makes it look like the end of the connector will rip through the valve sleeve. Therefore, I don't have much confidence in the durability of the bite valve.Overall, the quality of the valve is mediocre, but the price is very good.

So far I've only tried one nipple to replace the one on my Camelbak hydration pack. The Camelbak nipples always start to drip after a couple of months of use. This new nipple was easy to put on but dripped a tiny tiny bit, but not enough to dribble onto my leg when riding my mountain bike. However, the slit was so small that it was hard to suck the water out. I enlarged the slit slightly and now it's easier to drink from, and it still doesn't drip.The cost of this kit is about the same as a replacement Camelbak nipple, so even if this one starts to drip after a few months and needs to be replace, I have 4 more to use. This is a great deal!I didn't try the valves because I don't yet have need for a new one.
