I honestly didn’t know what to expect but for some reason based on the photos I expected something shorter and flimsy.I was very pleased when I opened it and found them to be longer and of much better quality. They are quite substantial and feel like it’ll hold up quite well.Can I use fingers when caulking? Sure. It’s still nice to be able to use something other than fingers, and some jobs, especially larger joint filling ones, that can really benefit from a spatula. So while the smaller ones will come in handy, I’m particularly pleased with the larger ones.

There are a lot of various tools out there for smoothing caulk and grout, and I'd probably argue none of them work as well as a wet finger, but people to buy them. What I find especially puzzling about these is the sizes of them. The smallest one is almost an inch across -- almost a half inch radius! And that's the small one. If you're finding you need to smooth your grout or caulk with a radius that big, you probably need to work a bit on your surface installations. That's a *lot* of caulk or grout. The big one is almost 2" across -- that's a freakin' spatula!I'm using them as a smoothing tool, with some utility, with thrown pottery, where it may be hard to get a rubber rib tool down inside a taller vase. They seem to be okay for that, especially for the price. But for their intended use? Weird.
