It's not a 8*8 inch Baking Dish. If it was it would fit into my toaster oven. I measured the dish at 8 and 1/2 inches without the handles. I'll keep it because it's pretty but I'm disappointed.

I love this little baking dish. It is so versatile - brownies, cobblers and crisps, small lasagna, or anything else you can dream up. The cleaning is so easy and the handles on opposite sides are helpful. The blue is a deep, rich dark cobalt that I love. I've already made a peach crisp with it and the heat transference was perfect with the distribution even. Frankly, I was tired of eventually throwing out scratched, stained, metallic square baking pans where the coating was deteriorating with use. I can bake with confidence that this dish will last for years.
