It was easy to assemble I did it all by myself no problem. It holds together well and provides great support. Definitely a good substitute for a regular box spring.

Metal frame with the right amount of height to put into the frame of any bed which will creat the bed to become sturdier and fit so that when you put the mattress on it it will keep it properly stable and give the mattress te right amount of height from the floor to the bed. Especially if you like being well off the floor level and love the way it is in a canopy bed like mine which I also ordered from here.

I purchased this because I bought a new mattress that is 5" thicker than my previous mattress and now was too high because the box spring so this was purchased to replace it and it does the job perfectly. Item arrived earlier than expected, I was able to assemble it all by myself. My only gripe is the tools that it came with were the wrong size but as long as you have a socket wrench which most people should have, it shouldn't be a problem and be done within 15-20 minutes. It looks super sturdy, solid quality and isn't noisy once you put the mattress on it.
