This look so pretty on the table and they are super useful too. You do have to be careful to fully open them when putting them down. We are resisting cutting that band but might at some time to make that easier. So far it has not been a problem and we love the look of these.

I have been seeing these tree trivets everywhere. I figured it would come in handy. I am always setting my hot pots and air fryer basket on my granite countertops, which I know is a bad idea. This tree is cute and handy. You can leave it on your countertop and just grab as needed. And 3 is plenty. How many are you going to use at one time? They are very well made. I've already had several compliments on it.

The tree shaped design is a conversation starter especially when one of the trivets are taken from the tree and used. I think it is a very unique way to protect your surfaces and made of quality material that is durable. I did not have any problems with unpackaging and set up - based on another review there was a popping issue but after I unpackaged they worked perfectly. Nice set

I love a product that can serve more than just its one purpose as a useful gadget. This is such a cute little addition to my kitchen. I have other walnut wood items in my kitchen so this fit in perfectly. It is as displayed in the photo. I would say that it would be nicer if the trivet stayed laying flat instead of popping right up on the table when not in use. This is why I put 4 stars instead of 5.

Once you've made one small change, these are excellent trivet mats made of black walnut that easily fold out to keep your cold and hot drinks off the surface of your table, while still being easy to pick up and place on the neat little 'tree' stand. They look excellent, and they have a good resistance to moisture and temperature. The stand also makes them great to store since they only take up the size of a small coaster on your table when they're on the stand. And the stand looks like a cute little 'tree'!With that said, without one small change you can make yourself, I wouldn't recommend these. It's an incredibly easy thing to fix that only takes a few seconds and no special tools, but I'm still taking a star off for ease-of-use out of the box.You cannot use these easily the way they come out of the box. There are two elastic bands on each trivet, and the way they're made keeps them pointed up like a cone whenever something isn't holding them down. Yes, as soon as you lift the pot or cup or whatever else, the trivet will pop back up, sometimes so violently it flies off onto the floor. Like I said though, it's an easy fix you can make yourself with a pair of scissors or a knife.If you cut the outer elastic band (the large one), and take out that band, the trivets still stay together, they're still just as protective, and they still easily fit down onto the stand. They'll no longer pop up when you take things off of them but instead stay flat until you pick them up, and they're now ready to use as trivets as normal or even as coasters!Overall, with that one small change, these would be changed from an impractical and problematic product, into a great set of trivets. You can easily make that change yourself with just a few seconds of time, though, so I'm giving them 4 stars.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.
