Unlike most replacement ignition coils this one comes with a plug wire that only has 1 end that can be put on the coil or plug. Others i habe ordered in the past have come with the terminal and boot to put on the spark plug wire so that it can be connected to the coil and the plug

Seemed fine upon delivery and install was simple enough. No spark on first coil so I pulled off the plug wire and the post from the coil came with it. I'm not convinced it was actually connected to anything inside the coil. Out of curiosity, I gave the post on the second coil a light tug with my fingers and had the same issue. At least returns are easy. Go with OEM and save yourself the time.

Works great on the Johnson 115. I replaced two of them and she started up fine.
