I received this replacement battery for free through the Amazon Vine program, and I’m happy to report that my Roomba is once again zipping around like it just got promoted. Installation was easy—just pop out the old battery, slide this one in, and suddenly my robot vacuum has the energy of a puppy who just heard the treat bag rustle. It now finishes a full cleaning cycle without stopping halfway to take an unscheduled nap.The battery fits perfectly and charges up without any hiccups. My Roomba seems to be holding a charge just as well (if not better) than it did with the original battery when it was new. I’m especially happy that it didn’t require any kind of secret handshake or compatibility drama—just plug and go.So far, this replacement has done exactly what I hoped it would: bring my vacuum back from semi-retirement and put it back to work. If your Roomba’s been dragging its wheels, this battery might be exactly what it needs to stop pretending it’s on vacation.

Maybe this helps: I have an i7+, I just installed the battery and I was getting C510 then C520 error. I disconnected and reconnected the vacuum from wifi via the app and restarted the app and it appears to connect now.Will update review if this fails again.

Why did I wait so long to change the battery in my Roomba i7? The installation is very easy. The i7 can take two sizes of batteries, one short and one long like this one. The long one fits perfectly. Prior to changing the battery the robot vacuum was taking 6 hours to do the job with most of that time spent charging. This battery came out of the box fully charged, and the job is now done in under two hours. After the two hours, it still had battery life to spare. Very happy with this replacement battery. It functions as it should and the price seems competitive.

In my home and offices, we have a lot of these iRobots running around. One of the older units that we got from Costco was not holding its charge, so I installed this larger size, and it dropped in without any issues. The unit is now able to run longer than before using the smaller battery that came with the machine.I'm not sure if this is recommended, but I'm just a typical consumer, and I used the larger battery anyway, and it worked.So, for me, I can award this a 5-star review.

The battery itself is made well, installs in our Roomba i4 just fine. The instructions are absolutely useless as there are NO actual instructions/photos etc. The single pamphlet included talks about warranty without giving ANY warranty details.Luckily, I have deep cleaned our Roomba so I knew how to take it apart and replace the battery. So far it appears to function well, but time will tell if the battery lasts and run time will continue to be extended.

I just received the battery, so it hasn't been properly put through its paces in my vac. So, I'm simply judging a book by its cover, but am doing so by reviewing the promising specs, outward build quality, and materials used for this product.I have an iRobot Roomba E5 (5150) vac. It's the first I've owned that's wifi-connected and app-controlled. I have since purchased an iRobot s9+ and control both, via iPhone app. Both need proper 'juice' to keep them operating properly and longer. The OEM battery has been steady and strong, and my hopes for this replacement is that it will match that original quality.The specs are very good... Lithium-ion / 14.4V / 62.4Wh 4460mAh. The battery is designed to ensure true capacity, stable current, and low self-discharge. It's intended to be used in Roomba e and i Series models. The specific ones are listed on this page.Safety first... I appreciate that this replacement battery is certified by UL / CE / FCC / RoHS for safety. This model is ABL-F, but VANPIR says it is compatible with other batteries, such as ABL-D1 and ABL-D2.I like... There is a 30-days rebate, 12-months replacement, and 24 x 7 email support. The kit also includes its own little screwdriver, as you can see in the accompanying picture.
