I stupidly used whatever brand filter my local auto parts store had during a recent oil change, and my ‘17 canyon started having a pulsing idle on startup. Changed the filter to OEM and problem went away.

I generally don't go OEM for oil filters, but for the Baby Duramax I think that's a good idea. These are just what the engineer ordered.

Same as some other people mentioned, when I bought it, said cap included, which it was clearly Not!, think that has been corrected since then, filter is great, no issues

Everything was great! But not according to description ... was filter only, no replacement cap, was able to use, but like to replace plastic cap when I can, but not this time
