These shelf brackets are very nice, even though it took me a bit to figure out how they work. I have used mine with plexiglas, but wood would work just as well. I like that they look sleek and modern without being bulky or in the way of anything as I am using them in a small bathroom. I have these now in both the black and silver and I am using in two different bathrooms to match the decor.

Easy to use and nice to have. They look good once all up. They come in a small, tiny box but the work great for floating shelves.

No instructions were included in the box that I could find but needless to say it's not hard to find out about the adjustment screw at the bottom to expand out the shelf holder. They are made of decent quality metal and a bit of plastic. (the pictures on the listing give a good sample of using them to install)I still am waiting on the wood to be to cut to the size we need to put these up, but I did work out exactly where and how I want these shelves. My only regret is I wish they sold larger lots of these so you could put up more floating shelves. These look good and would be great to have more of them, but the price is a bit high for just basically a bracket, albeit a NICE looking and feeling bracket.

The Floating Glass/Wood Shelf Bracket 6 Pcs Adjustable Clamp looks excellent and fully functional. They are more versatile than the usual glass brackets, with a maximum thickness of 2/5 inches. The opening between the lips of the Floating Glass/Wood Shelf Bracket is much broader than usual and can accommodate up to 1,1 inches. These brackets are from zinc alloy, and the surfaces are shiny and mirror-like. One out of 6 brackets had a minor blemish on the coating. The others were perfect. The installation is no more complex than the regular shelf brackets, and the seller has a brief video. I am giving the Floating Glass/Wood Shelf Bracket 6 Pcs Adjustable Clamp 5 a 5-star review because they look better and more versatile than most similar brackets.

These shelf brackets appear to be made from metal castings and have an attractive chrome finish. They are mounted by two screws which go through the smaller top bracket into the wall. So when the brackets are installed, the larger bottom piece moves upwards to clampo the shelf. I mention this since other brackets I have used have had moving top pieces and if you are trying to place the shelf at a specific height, you need to be aware of which piece moves and which is stationary. The bottom bracket has a recessed screw in the bottom which moves the bracket up as it is tightened. It grips the shelf well and seems very sturdy. You should check the size of the brackets carefull if you are installing a small shelf as the brackets are quite robuts and may appear a bit large on very small shelves.

Picked these up to swap out some worn-out aluminum brackets that had seen better days holding glass shower shelves. Initial impressions: these things feel rock-solid—heavy-duty metal, not like the cheap stuff I had before. They mounted right into the existing holes, no fuss at all. The build feels reassuringly durable, and visually they're sleek and clean-looking. For around 20 bucks, it's a noticeable quality upgrade. Highly recommended!
