Safety risk! Do not purchase! After assembling the bench ensuring all hardware was tight I tested it out and within 2 minutes the bench support bar collapsed causing me to fall off the bench holding the weights. Had I been bench pressing or using heaving weights I would’ve been seriously injured insured. After collapsing the bench is unusable as the 2 flimsy metal support pieces are bent in several spots.

Good addition for leg extension and preache padI've been using this weight bench with this bench a few weeks now, and overall, I'm seriously impressed by its functionality and durability.

I was excited to try to bench out as a replacement for my old adjustable bench mostly due to the leg extension and leg curls feature. During the build I ran into 2 major build flaws which made me return the product.1: The bench has a peice labeled as 38 designed to keep the benches attachment on the hinge stable. Due to the slightly bent in prongs on the hinge I was not able to get both 38 peices into the gap resulting in the bench being far too unstable for heavy lifting purposes. (Photes 1 and 3)2: When tightening the base pieces together it would result in an uneven bench. It is hard to see from the photo but this resulted in one of the floor pads, far left in the photo, being about 1/2 inch off thr ground causing the bench to wobble. (Photo 2)I tried to do some adoptions to make it work such as using extra washers to reduce the wobble but nothing I did resulted in a bench stable enough that I would feel comfortable using for lifts like bench press.

It's a good bench, with a little bit of quirkiness.Once it's all assembled, it's solid and pretty functional. The one drawback, is the preacher curl setup. Full disclosure, I'm not a fan of most preacher curl attachments that don't involve an actual bar. That said, this setup just doesn't work for me at all. I've tried every combination of pad height, and chain length. Nothing works for me, so I'll never use that. No huge loss, because that's not why I got this bench. Just something to be aware of.The other quirk is in the assembly process. There's a bit in Step 4 where it references pieces 38. There were no pieces 38 in the sealed package of bolts, washers etc. But there were some plastic pieces that were already in place, and I assumed these were just pre installed. So I just continued with assembly. At this point I was SUPER disappointed with how wobbly the back rest was. Long story short, I didn't find pieces 38 until I had assembled the entire thing. They were in a separate bag that contained other accessories (spring clip, plastic end caps, etc.So I had to disassemble the main pivot point of the bench, to get pieces 38 installed.That completely fixed the wobbly issue.So at the end of the day, it's a good bench. Just make sure to look in that separate bag for those pieces.And as long as you don't need a good preacher curl setup, this is a good bench.I like that the incline/decline for the backrest and seat are very easy, and both are marked with the actual angle. That's nice.There is a bit of failed stitching on the back rest, straight out of the box. Not a deal breaker, but there is a slight lack of quality there.I've included pics of the instructions, noting the pieces to look out for. And a pic of the loose stitching.Again, a good bench, that could have been great. Functional for my needs, but those issues should be noted.
