For a number of years I had been buying Pet Prevue cuttlebone in bulk. But my parakeets would not touch my last two orders. Talk about a waste of money. I debated between giving up and not buying more cuttlebone or trying another supplier. I settled on one last try and bought A&E Cage Cuttlebone. My birds love it! Keep it coming!

I've bought other cuttlebones in the past that described their product as 4-6". These are HUGE! Some did arrived broken,, but the majority are whole. Will definitely use this seller again.

Cuttlebone looks to be in great condition with lots of whole, large pieces. There are some broken pieces too but my finches prefer the smaller chunks anyway. I was so tired of getting small packages of cuttlebone just to be disappointed with the rusty clips embedded in them, not to mention the lack of usability when getting those products completely crushed in the mail. I know my birds will love these and I won't have to worry about getting more for a while.

I keep every thing from parakeets, show budgies, lovebirds, cockatiels, quakers, and a single conure with a little under 100 birds we go through a ton of cuttle bone. This is the easiest and cheapest way to buy it this round i got 62 usable pieces and can use the tiny chunks left in toys last time i only got 47 and a lot of small chunks but it still worked for us it varies from box to box and you can return it if not happy with it. This is natural cuttle bone not the chemically treated pristine white and perfect cuttle bone from the store this is basicaly the chipped and maybe discolored stuff they dont package to sell individually. Its still great cuttle bone and my birds dont care if it looks perfect they are going to destroy it anyway. If you have a lot of birds or are just looking to save money on cuttle bone its worth it if you get a bad box send it back and try again.

This is probably the cheapest bulk pack available on Amazon and I was suspicious based on some past reviews that they might not come whole. I didn't need them all to be whole since I could also use the broken pieces. To my surprise, There were no broken pieces. Maybe chipped on the edges (maybe by ~1/4 - 1/2 inch, but most of them were roughly 6 inches long and intact. The 4-6 inches advertised seems to lean towards the larger side, which works fine for me. Great value!

The worst thing about this item is the cuttlebones smell like dead fish. I’ve had to soak them in peroxide just so I can keep them in the house. I like that the cuttlebones were larger than expected. They were shipped all together in a plastic bag inside a box so some were broken when received.

Well, was I surprised! I have ordered this product before and swore black and blue that I would not order it again as the bones arrived in bits and pieces. My hubby ordered this one for me as a surprise and when it arrived I was VERY pleased..the pieces were thick and very few of them were broken..I had 4 broken ones that I could still use. The packaging had improved and the box was heavily wrapped. I was not only thrilled by Jim's thoughtfulness but, I was very happy to see that these Cuttle Bones arrived in good shape. Yes, I would recommend this product, but, I am afraid that it might be a hit or a miss.......you have to decide....

I have had finches, canaries, and misc. other pet birds (all captive bred) for about 35 years. Over the last several years, I have found it increasingly difficult to find cuttlebone in larger packages than just one or 2. And those one or 2 are NOT what I prefer to offer to my birds (what I've been able to find is obviously old and/or bleached and VERY overpriced!) I have read other reviews about this company and their products and wasn't sure I should order from them. But I'm glad I did. Yes, some pieces were broken, but it was barely 1/4 of the box and since I have small birds, I frequently break the usual cuttlebones in half for my birds anyway, so this wasn't a problem. The size of the pieces was also generous, as some have reported! I also have box turtle rescues (entrusted to my by the ODNR for education, so we can hopefully get people to STOP removing them from the wild!!!) and the box turtles love and will utilize cuttlebone too! VERY SATISFIED with this purchase!! Thank you!!!
