Our initial experience with this is all positive. It provides decent picture quality and responsive keyboard & mouse input for a reasonable price. In our use case we bypassed the network as we had a direct Cat5e line available. Having the option to use this over a Network is pretty awesome. Will test a second unit via network and report back if that experience differs in a meaningful way.

Eh it’s just ok. The picture resolution drops significantly. As stated the usbs are only good for a mouse and keyboard not for a printer or flash drive unlike other brands. Also I bought it to use it thru my network switch but using it that way shuts down my WiFi so it didn’t work in my application wish i would’ve returned it and went with a better one.

I only needed this to get a text based console with keyboard through a 50 foot cat5 wall cable. It worked great for this. Occasionally drops keystrokes. Would not recommend for gaming or a low latency desktop, but great for my purpose (a server in a data closet)

Worked ok but the picture on the screen would flash out occasionally. I ended up using on a job in another installation and it ended up working great.

Horrible. If I could give this 0 stars I would.Does not display 1080p as described in the description. USB cuts in and out. The receiver makes this jarring scratching noise like someone is scratching a vinyl and taping something at the same time. How this product has an average of 4 stars is beyond me...I passed up similar KVM extenders because of the quantity and quality of reviews for a half working product.Windows 10 gives prompts that the optimal feed is 720. When images and 3d graphics are rendered on the screen the details are pixelated around the edges of certain parts of the screen. Its like 80% 1080P with sections that are in higher details (e.g. more visual data) showing up in 240 potato quality. Imagine looking at memes from the early 2000's with extra extra JPEG compression. The keyboard and mouse occasionally cut out. The only fix is to unplug the USB cables and plug them in again.I am going to try another KVM extender in a similar price range

This product was used for an NVR with a distance of 260ft. Tested it at first with 295ft and worked perfectly, no lag, excellent movement, and ability to precisely select menus and time slots on playback. Also tested it on a network switch across to Ubiquitous Edge switches and fiber of 500ft, worked exactly the same.Very happy with the product, we will definitely be using it again.

This extender is being used with an NVR with security cameras. We were using a browser-based viewer to monitor cameras, but there was a significant delay between real movement and movement on the display. This KVM extender works well and allows us to see the action in real time. Good choice.
