I have a lot of drill bits for a bit an brace style of drill and this was a good storage solution to help keep them safe from rust

Exactly what I needed. The size is perfect for watercolor brushes. I wanted a roll up for my sketching bag and this will suit me perfectly. I had to look hard to find one this size. Love the material, a heavy duty cotton canvas type fabric. One thing I did do on receiving it was to seal the frayed ends of the ties and other stitches. I use a drop of CA or super glue. This cements the fiber ends together and I've found greatly enhances longevity of stitches or ends that are fraying.

This is a nice brush holder but it is not getting five stars because if the roll is tipped all of the brushes fall out

Fantastic brush holder. Fits palette knives and wide flat wash brushes and has a variety of pocket sizes. For the smaller pockets, you can fit several brushes, so it's great if you have a lot of stuff you want to take with you. Feels thick and sturdy, but not stiff. Brushes do not fall out.Bit of a warning: synthetic brushes do well in it in any condition. Squirrel brushes get frayed if put in wet. I can imagine that's a product of the fact that the pockets accommodate more than one brush simultaneously. Not actually an issue, though, if you're not planning on storing your brushes in there for years without touching them.There is also a pouch that runs along the width of the holder (not shown well in the picture). Don't know what it's for, but it's there.Fits short to medium length brushes; anything longer will stick out.Does what it's supposed to do. Looks and feels nice. Great for traveling.

Warning: the brush-holding sections are too wide, causing my expensive sable watercolor brushes to fall out when I tried it just now. I'm returning this item.

I really like this! I actually bought this for my makeup brushes, after failing to find a roll-up bag that I liked from the makeup/beauty department. There are plenty of compartments and they fit my brushes really well, especially the bigger ones. For the smaller brushes, I just stuck 2-3 of them in one pocket and it fits well. It's also easy to fold the top down and over the bristles to compact it a bit and roll it up. It's really well-made, too. I also do have a lot of paintbrushes and might order another one just to hold those!

This brush holder is just the size that I wanted for my short brushes! I got this because I got tired of digging around to try and find the smaller brushes amongst my long ones in my big brush holder. My brushes were just getting to be a big mess, so I'm glad I finally got that taken care of! It's not meant for long handled brushes, but it's got more than enough space and plenty of pockets for the small brushes. The holder itself is sturdy and useful for taking the brushes somewhere when I work away from my home studio. And one time when I had to take a bunch of screwdrivers with me to help a friend, I put them in this pouch so I don't lose them and that worked out great. I really recommend it if you got short brushes and want to get them organized!
