Am replacing my original lock, because someone tried cutting it off. The alarm sounded preventing them from making off with the bike.Yes the lock is good quality and functions well. It firsts gives you a warning beep when you mess with it, if you stop messing with it, it will not sound the alarm, if you keep messing with it it will sound the alarm and is it ever loud. I am going to start using two of them on the ebike for a bit more protection. Making it just that much harder for someone trying to steal it.

I have purchased two of these locks and I'm sending back both of these locks. Neither one of them will allow me to change the password. Once I change it, the lock will not open. The instructions say that if the lock doesn't open due to a dead battery or you forget your password, you can take the batteries out and wait 15 minutes and it will revert back to the original password that it came with. I did that and it still won't open so it's useless to me. Also, it doesn't have any kind of sign on it saying that there is an alarm on it so what's the point in having an alarm to warn people about if there's nothing on it that actually says that?

Reason for 4 stars is the cable could be a bit longer. I use it on an e-bike so the frame is thicker for the cable to go around

It's very loud & your bike will stay safe, If someone tries to touch your bike it will start buzzing !

I like that it gives you a warning beep before going off. If it is left alone after first beep it will not go off.

The product was as described and on time. The directions for setting the code are a little confusing. Hence, the title. Definitely does what it's supposed to do, and then some. Bonus: Scared the daylights out of myself and my boyfriend setting the code. This product works!
