Note
- Only used with centrifugal fan, only replacement for brush type motors
- Will not work with brushless type motor or soft/slow start motors
- If the fan itself has a speed control function, using the speed controller will not work at low speeds and can only be used at high speeds
- If there is a buzzing sound during use, it is because the electronic noise of the motor during low-speed use does not affect the motor

its speed control is not precise; small movement of dial can change speed by large amounts, and can slow fan when turning it slightly down, or when turning it down ends up speeding it up. Causes lots of hum and its shape and configuration is not well though out in terms of being able to mount it anywhere so it does not get in the way.

Does not go to low rpms

This did not work well for me. It takes a lot of fiddling to get the speed set and then it doesn't hold. Any load on the controlled motor causes the rpm to drop and it take forever for it to regain speed as well as no were it was originally set.

I bought this to use with my shop vac. It works good when vacuuming up leaves & debris in my rocks. I can reduce the power/lower the suction, so it only picks up debris & not rocks.

This unit does not work well with a 3 1/4 horse router. The speed won’t very.
