The handle seems sturdy and well-made, but I had to return it because it was larger than described.Hopefully this will help future buyers:* The outer width of the straps is 5.75 inches.* The inner width is 4.5 inches.* And the handle is 4 inches tall/long.* (Please see photos).

The handle on my Gibson Les Paul case broke, and I bought this as a replacement. The handle itself is a little wider than the connectors on my case; however, the flexible straps allowed me to attach it to the case. The handle is reasonably comfortable. On thing that I did not take in to consideration was the flexible straps. The old handle was hard plastic and was very stiff. This handle allows the case to swing back and forth a little when I walk with it. The swinging is not a show stopper - I just have to get used to it. However, I would have preferred a stiffer handle.

I bought this because the handle on my trombone case finally broke off. The metal posts were still fine.This handle works great as a fix until I can get the case into a luggage repair shop (yes they fix instrument case handles). With the additional leather flap, there is a double thickness of leather straps which will extend the life of the handle.

中古で購入したレスポールのハードケースの取っ手が、ぼろく、別途購入しようかとも思ったのですが、取っ手以外は非常にきれいなので、もったいないと思い、いろいろ検索し、この商品にたどり着きました。ギブソン向けをうたっているだけあり、サイズはピッタリでした。しかし、、造りは非常にチープで、7000円という値段に見合ってないです。材質はおそらく、本革ではなく合皮でしょう。質感もチープだし、強度も心配です。以前の同商品の画像を検索すると、2980円くらいで売っていた時期もあるようです。それなら納得でした。

One day I tried to pick up my vintage Martin D12 28 and the guitar case handle broke in half. Ok, so the guitar and case are 40 years old; I wasn't upset it broke, just unpleasantly surprised.Getting the handle pieces off the old case looked like I was gonna need a saw and maybe a rivet remover something or other. What to do? Check Amazon! I searched guitar case handles, and came up with this one. This guy solved the broken handle problem (with the addition of my trusty wood saw - to saw off the broken bits).Because it buckles on the old (rivet) mount I didn't have to fuss around with rivets and stuff.And the new handle, leather and all, looks and works just fine. I can cart the case (and guitar) around safe and sound.So I gave it four stars instead of five, why? Because it just doesn't feel quite the same (or as good - more slop with the extra length) in my hands as the old one did; but it only took a minute to install. All that to say, it does get the job done and looks pretty good too!

It worked as expected.Instrument case handles break all the time, and after market fixes usually outlast the original.I would highly recommend
