I rewired 2 Fender humbucker pickups to 4 wire using this cable. It worked just fine. The cable is not super supple but I think this is what's needed for wiring guitars as you want the wires to sit where you put them so that they drop into the routed slots. VFM was excellent and I would buy this again.

I got a solderless Les Paul harness, but it didn't work properly so I had to return it. That left the my Les Paul without electronics so I had to piece it together. I needed multiple wires to connect the pickup selector switch. I went to the hardware store. They didn't have anything that would do the trick. So I went online. The guitar stores had something, but they were out of stock. This was all I could find.I'm have zero experience with electronics and soldering. I had to solder each wire to the selector switch and then solder the other ends to the potentiometers and the ground. I had no idea if it was going to work. But it worked. It works like a charm. It's very rewarding to accomplish something using a new skill.

Mise en garde pour une utilisation nécessitant cinq conducteurs isolés avec blindage . Un fil supplémentaire non isolé est bien présent au milieu des autres ,mais le descriptif aurait dû présenter cette particularité.Interrogé, le vendeur répond que ce fil passe dans un tube ,ce qui est faux .L'appellation cinq conducteurs est donc erronée .
