I love it. It's sturdy, feels like it will resist a lifetime. I took out with it the root that broke the wood-handle of a cheaper shovel from HomeDepot... It's on the heavier side (I weighted it at 5.8lbs), but I can easily use it without breaking my back. Blade is thick, and not sharpened; you won't cut your fingers on it, but will dig just fine.

I bought this after snapping my wooden shovel trying to remove a tree stump. My husband said “we don’t need to spend that much on a shovel” but then when it finally came in he ate his own words and was very impressed with how durable and well made it was. I don’t think we will ever have to buy another one - this thing is solid!

It is pretty heavy, but works like a champ.I use it to dig rocks out of my yard and also large weeds.I'm looking for a 2nd one!
